CADC Camp

Hohoho. Went to watch The Final Destination some time ago.
And I just finish having Final Destination marathon.
Asked my brother to help me download all 3 and I watched it in one go.

Class outing was cancelled and I wonder why.

Anyway, CADC camp over.
It was a 3D2N camp but it's more of like a hang-out-together-3D2N-w/o-going-home.
Basically, during mornings and afternoons, there wasn't much stuff besides talking, talking, playing card games, looking at people play card games, looking at people play computer games =.='''
The activities were more "on" at night but I'm an afternoon person so I was yawning and yawning all the time.

On the first night, we went to Aston's for dinner then train down to Plaza Sing for movie.
Wanted to watch the 11.45pm show but there were only front row seats so bought tickets for 1.20am show instead.
The guys went to play pool while the girls (only 2 girls by the way =.=) went to sit at McDonalds to let time fly.
Watched G-Force =D
Movie ended at around 4am. Took taxi back to school.
We went to sports stadium to sleep.
Took me 1 hour to fall asleep. And I woke up 1 hour later =.= Couldn't get back to sleep after that.

On the second day, was being too sleepy so I'm like a zombie.
Ohh. I went for service and went back to school at around 9.40pm.
The school gate is closed so only the person inside could open the door.
Didn't want to trouble my friends to help me open the gate.
So I walked to another gate. It was closed as well.
Again walked to another gate. It's open!
But it was hell long way back to school.
If walking through the main gate, I just need 5-7 minutes from MRT to club room.
I took 20 minutes to walk the super long route =.=
Reached there to realise that the room was locked.
I knocked and there was like a sudden silent and the door open.
They were drinking tequila and they thought I'm the school security guard =.=
Anyway, tequila is nice =D
I realise all the kind of alcohol my dad drinks aren't nice =X

Anyway, slept at 11.20pm that night. Woke up at 6.20am.
Went home and continue sleeping from 11am to 5pm!!
And at night, again slept from 10.45pm to 7.20am.
How pig can I get??

Aha. 11-13 september will be chlorine camp.
Don't know of anyone yet whose in the same group as me :'(

Inter-school Debates Competition (Preliminary Round)
So on 24th June 2009, headed to school for the competition.
There are 3 rounds in preliminary round.
Amazingly, the day before the competition, I could still sleep very well.
We registered our names and draw lots to see whether which team are we competing against.
To our horror, for the first round, our opponent is SBM (the group with the president of CADC)
Me and Fatimah was like "Ohhhhh nooooooo~".

Motion is: THBT we should register child sex offenders in the national database.

My team had to agree to it.
When it was my turn speaking, like half way through it, the adjudicators were laughing and one of them, his head was placed flat on the table =.=
And I was like Uhhh??
And throughout, I was wondering if I said anything wrong @_@
And yea, of course, our team lost the 1st round.

So off to the 2nd round.
Opponent is SHS.
Before the motion was released, we were hoping that international politics won't come out because it's like one of the hardest topic to talk about.

Motion is : THBT we're losing the war of terror.
(That's politics FYI)

And as someone who doesn't watch news or read newspaper, I was again like "Ooooooooohhh nooooooooo~"

After debating, the adjudicator said that our news were out-dated.
So throughout the whole debate, both teams were not saying the right thing XD

And and we lost again =.=

Fatimah didn't wanted to continue already.
So she decided to leave.
So our team automatically didn't get into semi-finals.

Lol. Surprisingly, I wasn't sad at all.
BLF said maybe it's because of Orange =X

Inter-school Debates Competition (Semi/Grand Finals)
Went to school on 26th June again to watch the debate competition.
Wasn't able to convince Wan Ting to go with me so I dragged Hyalyn along with me.
In semi-finals, SBM against SHS and another SBM against SEG.
Went to watch the one that has SBM and SHS.

Headed to koufu for lunch before grand-finals.
They want to study so I went to watch alone :(
SBM against SEG.

Motion: THBT the government should not fund religious schools.

In the end, SBM won the championship.
Best speaker goes to the Mr. President from SBM.

Heh. Thank God that there's one more week of holiday.
Was preparing for competition so didn't have much time for studying.
So one more week for preparation! Whee~
But aye, the e-learning doesn't seems fun either :(

When it started rising...

Just have a sudden desire to blog about my life :D
Is considering to rise my blog from the dead :)

Inter-school debates competition is drawing nearer and nearer but I’m still so not prepared.

There are so many trainings to go for and so many reading and research to do.

Because of this, there’s also a shortage of time for revision.
My tests are coming right after the 2 weeks break :(

On a lighter note, went for a shopping spree with my poly friends!

We went to quite a lot of places actually.
First place we went to was Wisma. Mango was super crowded and the fitting room queue super long.
After that we headed to Far East Plaza.

Then took bus to Iluma and then to Bugis Street.

Added 2 tops to my wardrobe :D

I love GSS!~~

Was kinda late and tired oledi so me and Yvonne left earlier.

In conclusion, had a great day.

Ahh. I still can’t find a proper pair of flats.

Saw this pair of flats from Everlast that I like but the smallest size is still kinda big for my foot :(

I wanted a pair of Everlast flats since last year.
Finally decided to buy since there’s also a 10% discount but don’t have my size. Ahh~
But I’m still proud of my princess feet :p

And and... had another fun day out with BLF! :D

We went to Taka for early lunch.

Both of us bought curry puff and tutu kueh.

Still felt kinda hungry so we both each bought 1 chicken and 1 pork stick from Tori-Q.

Went to Wisma to shop :D

The top from Mango I regretted not buying wasn’t there anymore :(

Singaporean females are really shopaholics!

We then headed to Far East Plaza.

Was kinda hungry again so I bought shark fin soup while she bought the chicken culet.

Shopped and we headed to Ngee Ann City where I bought a can of Heineken :D
I thought the person will ask for my IC but in the end, she didn’t. I look old?? :(
Then we sat outdoors to share the can.
Lol. Only drank half a can and I couldn’t walk straight oledi. LOL.

And I felt kinda high and crazy :X

Went to Ngee Ann City again and to ART FRIEND where I bought a friend home.

LOL. I bought a canvas board.

Think I’ll only start touching it until months and months later.

Quickly rush to Cineleisure after that for dinner @ Pastamania.

HAHA. So for the whole day, we didn’t really buy anything for ourselves except for FOOD (if you haven’t realise XD)

And I was wearing my shades half of the time and I kept tripping onto things and almost fell down XD

Went separated ways after that.

I went to bed at around 11.20pm.
Couldn’t fall asleep until around 12.38am.

I woke up again at around 1.55am.

Then again, I couldn’t sleep until around 3.45am =.=

Shouldn’t have drank the White Flat Coffee from Pastamania~

Inter-school Debates

2 weeks of study break starting from now till 28th June 2009 :D

Heh. I’ve been selected to represent NYP’s School of Chemical & Life Science for the inter-school debates competition 2009 :D

I’m super excited! Nope, I don’t know what the topic is yet.
The topic will only be released 30 minutes before the start of debate.
That means we will only have 30 minutes to prepare everything we want to say~
But our debate coach told us 18 possible topics that will come out for the competition.
So we have to research and read on all 18 topics before the day arrive.

Here are the 18 topics:
A) Sex
1- Whether we should lower the age consent of having sex
2- If your HIV status should be shown in your I.C
3- Abortion

B) Beliefs
4- Whether we should band religious items in public schools
5- Use of public or government money to fund religious schools
6- Whether those majority religious schools should receive more funds

C) Economics & Finance
7- Effects of stimulus package
8- If development should be tied to countries’ track record with environment
9- Involvement of government in private business

D) International Politics
10- USA sanctions on Cuba
11- Impact of war on terror
12- ASEAN and Myanmar

E) Education
13- Look into the sale of contraceptive in public schools
14- Exams: Keep it or get rid of them
15- Receiving educational subsidies for serving the nation/country

F) Law
16- Convicted criminals and if they’re allowed to vote
17- Sale of violent video games to minors
18- Registering child sex offenders in national database

Lots of reading and research to do. Wish me luck :D
I really really really really x 1000 pray that I could at least squeeze into the semi finals :D
Gotta go for trainings during this period of time to practice, train and discuss with my team members before the competition~

I'm in Current Affair & Debating Club!!! :D

Had a speech yesterday. Only TEN people turned up. Haha. This is my speech:

"We should cherish our environment and not take it for granted.

I'm going to talk about why we should always give care and more care to the environment.
And for now, let me just use teenagers and young adults as my example.
People nowadays have the knowledge and they know how pollutions, natural disasters, climate change, global warming, etc will affect our environment.
They know it through secondary school Geography.
But the problem is that they know it but they don't put what they know in action.
Some people think that what is happening to the environment has got nothing to do with them. Some may feel that it's up to the government and environmental agencies to solve the problems.
But people have to realize that the environment is OURS, it belongs to us and not just the government or presidents.

It's our environment and it's our Earth, so we should all learn to take up a role to help in combating the effects on our environment. But before we know how to handle the environmental issues, we should know what exactly is an environment.

I went to check various dictionaries from www.dictionary.com and I typed in the word “environment”.
Let me read to you one of the definition. It says that:

“Ecology, the air, water, minerals, organisms, and all other external factors surrounding and affecting a given organism at any time”.

Humans are organisms. You see, the way the surrounding is like affects us humans. It doesn't just affect plants and animals but it also affect the human race on Earth. Do you see the link? What affects the environment will affect us too.

I'm going to zoom into the area of air pollution.

You see, people waste electricity because they think that they are not the one whose paying for the utilities bill. Yes, as teenagers or even young adults, we are not the one whose paying the bill as our parents will pay them for us. But the ultimate one is that the environment is paying. The environment is paying for all the pollutions that we have caused.

You see, to produce electricity, you need to burn fossil fuels. When burning fossil fuels, harmful gases are being emitted to the air. The more electricity you use, the more fossil fuels they need to burn and of course, that will then lead to more harmful gases in the environment.
What I'm trying to say is that, people are harming the environment because of their actions.

Some people also don't see the effects of it yet. Yes, you don't actually see it as yet but it may affect the generation to come. Few years down the road, people will be affected by the adverse effects of the environment on humans. Health problems will start to arise. Hence, we should learn to save electricity and show care and concern to our environment.

Therefore, I conclude that we should as an individual take some responsibility to care about our environment and what's happening to it as it is our environment and our responsibility. Our actions will affect the environment and in turn, affect the organisms living in it. "

Was sick so I missed my class chalet :((

My timetable is crazy.
On Monday, lesson starts at 9am and it ends at 8.30pm.
1 hour of break so means 10 hours and 30 minutes of lessons in a day.
How to study so much when everyone's having monday blues??

Being game master for Freshmen Orientation is a waste of my time.
Went for a 2D/1N camp and 2 meetings because of that.
But in the end, the game lasted for less than 20 minutes.
Can't even put it for my NYAA because it's too short.

It's almost 4 weeks since my dad landed in the hospital :(
When there's minus, there will be plus.
More plus is coming ahead.

I predict that the end time is coming...
Flipping through History text book, Geography text book and National Geographic magazine, looking at the news and watching The History Channel and National Geographic channel, you know something is NOT right.
Each country had their own wars and natural disasters. But now, there's more and more to come. In fact, it has reach its record high.
She's not healthy. The end is coming.

SUPER Cute but not mine :((

My very first post in year 2009!!! (slow I know)
Hehehe.
Since the start of 2009, life has been quite smooth sailing =)))

Had Chemical Engineering Principles (CEP) test last Friday (15%).
Had Material Science (MS) test on Monday (15%).
Had Inorganic & Physical Chem (IPC) test on Tuesday (4 or 7%).
Had Communication Skills (CS) test on Wednesday (40%).
There's a super duper ultra high chance of me getting single digit for my IPC test.
But thank God it's only 4 or 7% :D
*pray that I'll get an A for CS*
Hahaha. I'm going to do about LOS ANGELES for my CS formal presentation xD
And tomorrow is my last pratical of the semester!! Whee!~~

I haven't posted anything for a month and now, I've no idea where to start posting.
I still have 2 more presentations and a few more BIG and important tests coming up.
There's tests before CNY and there's also tests after CNY :(((
CNY is so near oledi and I've no feel and mood for that~~
Well...talking about CNY...
My 18th birthday is getting nearer and nearer too~ XD *hint hint*
I want a waffle buffet on my birthday please! =D

I've signed up to become an OGL.
That camp for selecting OGLs will be on 4th and 5th March.
And if I got selected, there will be another camp on 10th and 11th March.
And there's also my church's annual camp.
It's on the 20th, 21st and 22nd March.
And another OGL one I think. It's on 23th and 24th March.
Hahahaha. If I'm selected and my parents allow me to go for all of them, then I'll be going for 4 camps in 4 weeks xD
Hohoho. March will be a month of break throughs and new experience.
Totally looking forward to it!~

Hello people!!!

Haven't added a single entry for quite some time.
So it's time for me to blog!! Hehe.

Was absent from school from 17th to 21st November 2008.
At some point, I was quite ok.
But at some point, I was super not feeling ok.
I just kept sleeping and sleeping for almost the whole day.
Body temperature is like stock market. Keep increasing and decreasing.
Highest temperature reached was 39.6 degree Celsius. (Lowest was 37.4dC)
At certain point of time, felt like vomiting and I had no appetite at all.
Had difficulty finishing just ONE slice of bread.

The cup was there to prepare in case I needed to vomit.

And at some point of time I was feeling so okay that I could decorate my soft toys' house with Christmas decorations.

Okay, I know it's not that nice =X

My backbone started to hurt and my fever didn't go away for days.
I kept coughing non-stop and it hurt my waist a lot (muscles contracting).
Thought maybe it's Dengue Fever so I went Changi General Hospital.
While travelling there, I was thinking about my funeral....
Was wondering if I were to die, most of my friends won't even know....
Was thinking which photograph my parents will use for the funeral photo....
(Since the last pass-port size photo I took was 3 years ago)
And I told myself that if I'm diagnosed with dengue, the first thing I will tell my mother is that I want Ah Ke to go into the coffin with me (I said that a lot of times oledi =X)

Ohh. I saw this two cuties from E-Bay. CUTEEE!!
It's around SGD$15 and the transportation fee is around SGD$8 =.=

So I had to do blood-testing.
And I was like "Erm. Doctor, what if I cough and vibrate while the needle enters my hand???"
And the doctor said "Try not to cough lo" =.=
Anyway, don't have dengue la, if not you won't be able to read this entry =X

Missed a lot of lessons and I was so worried every single day.
The following week, went back to school.
But was still coughing a lot. There were a lot of food I couldn't eat.
So brought bread to school for 1 to 2 weeks.
In total, I lost 2 kilograms ^_^

Doctor asked me to exercise in order to have a better/stronger immune system.
Also asked me to eat lesser of unhealthy food.
So I'm waking up earlier almost every morning to go for jogging.
And because of the jogging and controlling of the food I eat, I lost another 0.5 kg :D
I'm now 43 kilograms.

While I was sick, Cai Juan passed quite a number of things to me.
Thank you to all the people who have contributed <33 *hearts*
One of them is a Get Well card ^^

LOL. That time my care group agreeded that I'm the Orang Outang XD
Although this is a monkey but it's still from the Ape family.
And and if I sit down on the floor, I'm ALWAYS complaining that my butt hurts =X

Thanks for the flower, Vitamin C, fever patch, sweets, box and letters too! :)

Ohh and I've told my mum that I'm a Christian :)

The common test was a disaster. I shan't talk about that.

On 11th December 2008, went CWP to shop with Cheryl Lee.
After that, headed to Republic Polytechnic~
Early celebration for Evelyn's 17th birthday.
Toured around RP. They have museum!!

Last time, I wanted to be a curator of a museum.
I can't be a curator of a big museum but maybe I can be a curator of a school museum!!!
But then...I think only the freshmen will wanna visit the museum xD

On 13th December 2008 [Evelyn's 17th birthday]
Went Far East Plaza with Cheryl Lee and Evelyn :D

On 15th December 2008 [BLF's 16th birthday and Keiko's Spiritual 2 months old! ^^]
went White Sands and Tampines Mall with Cai Juan.
Went there to shop for Christmas gifts~

On 16th December 2008, didn't join Cai Juan, Joy, Jess and Rebecca for Christmas shopping.
Headed to Parkway Parade instead because BLF is working there~
Her lunch break only 40 minutes ='( Continued with my Christmas shopping~

On 17th December 2008, steam boat with Sis-In-Christ at Rix's house!!!
Met up with Cai Juan and Rebecca at AMK Hub first.
Then we headed to Rix's house. Some of them reach oledi~
Prepared the food together. Fun ^_^
After that, went down to the playground for some games.
I hurt my foot T_T And the wound is in a heart shape!!! Hahaha xD
Went back up to the house. We sat on the FLOOR for our steam boat dinner.
Around 20 people were present. Really pray that there will be more of this kind of opportunity where we can sit together in such a big group ^_^

18th December 2008...it's been a year since the surgery...

On 19th December 2008, went Sentosa with my class! =)
Quite a number of people didn't turn up =(
11 of us only (Keiko, Wan Ting, Cheryl Hoi, Cindy, Alvina, AHA LU, Kenneth, Allen, Xin Yang, Kai Xiang and Xian Ping)
They bought a volley ball at Sentosa then we went to dunno-what-its-name beach.
The ball hit liao very pain =( Also played poison ball)
Left at around 6pm~
(I ate SEVEN bread in total on that day)

On 20th December 2008, met up with Evangeline at Shaw House and we were both drooling at the good and nice movies. There are so many movies I wanna watch!!!!!!!!!!~
Service. Dinner. Home.

Hehehe. I can't wait for Christmas!!!
It's the first time I'm celebrating Christmas as a Christian ^_^
There's a special Christmas service on 24th December 2008 (5-7pm).
After that is the Christmas Party!! Will be going to the Flyer.
Dress code is skirt or dress for the females =D
But I'm looking super auntie on that day because I will be carrying a huge plastic bag for the Christmas gifts =X
Cai Juan said that I will look like Santa Claus on that day :x
Cai Juan, Jess and my dress have the same colours!!!
Top part is black and bottom part is white.
We didn't even buy it together xD
And and and...I have a Christmas hat!!! XD XD

1) Finish reading Bible.
2) ALWAYS do my tutorials!
3) Jog at least 4 times per week.
4) Go for OUT REACH more often.

7) Learn a new skill!
8) Say "Thank You" more often.
9) Align my priorities.
10) Bathe faster!

Been super sick lately X_X

Missed school for....FIVE days.
The most I absent from school is just ONE day.
This time round, I was absent for FIVE days STRAIGHT.
Now you can see how serious it is 8(

I went to see different doctors.
Including CGH. Went for blood test.
Didn't have dengue fever...

Was thinking...skali if I die oledi you all oso dunno...

Hello world, I’m here to let you know that I’m still alive! Hahaha.

Haven’t blogged about anything for around 20 days.Hence, this will be a heavy post~~ xD
I’m flipping through my diary as I type this because I can’t remember exactly what happened for the past 3 weeks of my life~
And I’m typing this out in my laptop so that I can go to school to post it~

10th October 2008...
Headed to Bugis with Cheryl and we met up with Grace and July.
The last time I saw July was 29th January 2008!
I can remember it because it’s 1 day before my birthday. Haha.
Had burger at MOS Burger <- this sentence sound so funny!
Then we headed to Bugis Street. Cheryl and I bought boyfriend-tee.
Same colour, same design, same pattern, same shop, same price...but different piece.
(If you understand then ok, if don’t understand then too bad xP)
After that, took MRT. I thought July alighting at Tampines also.
So when I alight, I didn’t say bye bye to her.
The next time I can say Hi or Bye to her face-to-face will be around 2-3 years later??
Went Tampines Mall with Cheryl and we went hunting for something.
Took really really really loooooong~~

11th October 2008...
Met up with Cheryl and we went to play badminton near her house~
Played with 3 primary school kids cos there’s only 1 court.
After that, headed to her house. Wasted quite some time =X
See see people’s blog, talk talk talk, hair hair hair (only we two will understand this xD), laugh laugh laugh, camwhore~ Then headed to Burger King to study.
Well, I did study ONE page, so that’s still considered as study okay =X
Rush home after that. My mother cheat me >=(
Ask me to reach home by 6.30pm. In the end, 7pm they still not prepared yet.
Then went to some temple for some dinner.
Then got “ge tai”. Zzz. Home~~

13 October 2008: The start of semester 2...
There are 2 modules which are CME-ish.
Didn’t appeal to German. And that was a good choice.
I’ve 3 friends in my class who went German class for only 1 lesson.
After that they decided to switch cos it’s too difficult.
One of the German teacher’s built and the way he walk is super alike to Sand Man (from Spiderman 3)!!!
And I’ve a tutorial teacher who looks like Indian but he say he’s from Canada.
His accent is really nice~~
I feel that my this semester’s mathematics is slightly easier than last semester’s ^_^
My PD teacher is strict but sometimes quite funny.
He have Discipline Master face XD
He told us about how he quit smoking and we watch motivating video every time before lesson end.

14 October 2008 was a really sad day.
Don’t wish to talk about it~
And I really wanna thank YOU so much for HURTING me.
Letting my heart bleed and making my tears flow like waterfall.
If I wasn’t so sad on that day, I won’t realise how much important HAPPINESS is.

But now I’m happier than ever~
Because on the following day (15th Oct 08), I made a decision.
People who know what decision is that, please don’t tag on my blog about it.

And Cai Juan the Red Veggie Roll told me that she saw on the internet that Keiko means “Happy Child”! :D

16th October 2008...
Went to Marina Square with Cai Juan, Joy, Evangeline, Rebecca and Maggie after school.
Had dinner at the food court.
Had a really nice view of the Esplanade and the buildings and towers~
We left the food court at around 10pm.
The food court almost no one left oledi xD
Nice day for me~~ :D

17th October 2008...
Went home after school to take a nap.

On 24th Oct 08, only have a 2 hour lab lesson.
Was in the bus for around 12 minutes then realise that I should be wearing covered shoes.
And I was wearing sandals. So bus back home to change.
Bus to school and I was late but I didn’t miss out any important thingy.
Need to do Titration for the next IPC lab. I can’t remember how to do oledi :(

Went to watch High School Musical 3 at AMK Hub on 31st October with Cai Juan, Rebecca, Gui Hao, Shi Kai, Wendy, Chris and Stephen.
Watched the 7.05PM time slot because someone’s lesson end at 6PM.
Didn’t know that there’s bus from our school’s bus stop to AMK Hub.
I always take MRT. Waste money =(
(Cos I’m using bus concession)
Went there to get tickets first with Rebecca and Chris and realise that it’s 10 bucks. OMG.
Bought 7 tickets, went down and we realise we forgot to buy Wendy’s ticket =X
So we rushed back to the cinema to buy another ticket.So the THREE of us were standing at the counter saying that we wanna buy ONE ticket XD
Lol. Funny funny~ Hehe. After watching, headed home~
IMO, High School Musical 3’s dance step is much nicer than the first and second one.

Bad Day

Yesterday, had a bad day at the NEWater Visitor Centre.
Was the first to speak in front of the people.
Second Wan Ting and third Cai Juan.
I thought it would have been better than last week's.
All kindergardens kids. So less stress and more fun??
But boy, I was so wrong!!

I started to have a little stomachache.
And to make things worst, the senior that's following me happened to be an idiot bitch....
She see me/us bu shuang and her face super black.
As if I offended her before.
In short, she has attitude problem.

I suppose to be the LEAD guide and she's the ASSISTANT guide.
But she make it as though I'm the assistant and she's the lead.
And she's SUPER two-faced laa.
Eek. Disgust me. Black face in front of me and act cute in front of the kids.
Seeing her speak in front of the kids can cause vomitting.

She gave me attitude so I gave her attitude back.
She was talking to me and I purposely face 90 degree away from her.
And she went to complain to the supervisor about us.
Mother fucker.
I bet she's just jealous that we're younger than her and that we have a brighter future than her :DD

After that, went to Bedok Interchange to have our lunch.
Then took MRT to school~ Bought textbooks then badminton~~
All the courts were booked so we went outside tutorial room to play XD
Played till around 6.10pm then headed home~
After digging for my wallet as I alight from the bus, I accidentally pull out my cell phone too.
And it landed on the ground with a loud bang. Ouch.
People looked at me. Zzz. Never see people drop phone before meh?? =.=

Met up then headed off to Cathay Cineleisure for Eagle Eye.
The movie is really nice ^^ Go watch it!~~
After that, went to find CD and then off to Far East Plaza.
Talk talk shop shop. Home home.

Will be going NEWater Visitor Centre tomorrow.

My timetable is out...
For my complementary studies, my choices are:
1) German Language
2) French Language
3) Japanese Language
4) Personal Development
In the end, I got into my last choice.

I was super sad when I saw the word "Personal Development" appearing in my timetable.
I started to cry. I was really really really disappointed.
The first word that came to my mind was "Fuck!!!" and the second word was "Appeal!!!".
I told myself that I wanna appeal to any other languages. ANY except Personal Development.
While having my lunch, I started to think and think.
I told myself "Maybe I should just look at the bright side".
Maybe things aren't that bad as I think...
For my next semester, for both Science modules, there are lots of things to memorize.
If I were to choose languages, I will have even more things to memorize.
However, for Personal Development, I won't have to memorize anything.
And it's easier to score well also...
Maybe I should just forget it. So what if I were to learn German or French??
Europe is way tooooooo expensive so even if I were to speak them really well, I won't ever be able to enter their university....
BUT...Personal Development is damn boring and USELESS *sigh* T_T
So I think I most likely won't appeal.

For the next semester....
Monday: 11.10am to 5pm
Tuesday: 8am to 6pm
Wednesday: 10.10am to 2.50pm
Thursday: 11.10am to 5pm
Friday: 9am to 2.50pm

Argh. Tuesday will be a super long day.
Good thing is that I won't have to wake up so early like last semester.
Bad thing is that 3/5 of the lessons end late.
Hope things go on smoothly....

Community Service

Been doing community service two days in a row~
Both with the usuals, Cai Juan and Wan Ting :D

On 1 Oct, went to the Singapore Flyer (again).
We were late (again) for 15 minutes.
Everyone else oledi had something to do.
Plus there were no more volunteer's t-shirts for us.

So at first, ushered the kids from the pick-up point to another place.
And according to one of the guy, three of us looked "very sad".
So he brought us to another station.
At that time was around 2.30pm and the people in the station asked us to report there at 3.30pm.
So we didn't have anything to do~ Other volunteers were busy while we were slacking.
Saw Cheryl (NYP) while we were on our way back to the station~
SMSed her and she told me she got to ride on the Flyer for FREE~ x(

We were asked to pack food at that station.
At first we thought it's an easier job cos we didn't have to walk around.
But when the kids started coming in to get their free food, we were so busy that we didn't even have the chance to go to the toilet =.=

After everything ended, went to Suntec to have our dinner.
Food Republic was packed so we went wanted to go Kopitiam.
I remembered that 2 years ago, I did see Kopitiam at Suntec.
But after walking for around 10 minutes to the top floor and to the end...
...then realise it's not there anymore =.=
So we walked back to Food Republic.
Foot hurtsssss~~ x(

So on 2nd Oct, went to the NEWater Visitor Centre.

There's 3 timing. I took the first one, Wan Ting the second and Cai Juan the last.

So the senior guide told us that that day all tour groups.

Mines Malaysian tour group.

The daily routine board at the office says that my group has 125 people.

I was freaked out that I have to speak in front of 125 people.

But after that, saw around 80 to 90 people.

So spoke in front all of them. Was very nervous.

And I think I sounded very shaky.

And and I just dislike speaking in the microphone :(

Don't know if I'm loud enough. I speak without mic in presentations people still say I speak loud.

And yesterday, spoke on the mic and the supervisor said that I spoke quite soft D:

Also told me that I didn't smile, look very serious =(

But he said although I was very nervous, I managed to speak fluently.

And things were quite okay until the last part.

I was saying "So did you enjoy yourself earlier?".

I thought no one would bother to reply me so I wanted to continue but all of a sudden, an uncle in front said "Yes!!".

That made me suddenly forgot where was I and what should I say next =.=

Suddenly brain blank out so the senior guide standing beside me help me continue the last few sentences I need to say >_<

After that was Wan Ting's turn.

Hers Kindergarden kids and primary school kids from German European School.

So good!!~~

Mines like all aunties, uncles and a few teenagers.

And her senior guide was more helpful unlike mines =XX

The supervisor wanted to share with us some tips so he treat Cai Juan as the guinea pig.

He was quite funny at first but like all of a sudden become a bit mean, serious and strict.

So keep asking Cai Juan to repeat and repeat again.

At first me and Wan Ting both agree that Cai Juan was unlucky =X

So after that, is Cai Juan's turn.

We waited for the tour group to arrive.

But after 15 minutes, still no sight of them.

So in the end, Cai Juan didn't have to speak in front and she can get her CIP hours =.=

So she's both lucky and unlucky yesterday XD

On 25th, went to NEWater Visitor Centre for the final training.

But I sat with them and stone~ And and...Grace look around to check that's there no one liao then hurry feed me....without knowing that the camera/CCTV is just at the top XD XD

Bought drinks, visit the washroom and left~

Headed to Orchard Road. I was sitting at the back of the van. And when I stood up, my head HIT the van's "shelter".

That's like the 2nd time I hit my head in a month!! >='(

Like 10 days ago, I left the cupboard's door open. I sat down at my table (which is below the cupboard).

And I forgot the door was still open so I when I stand up, my head hit onto the door.

And 1 week later, it still hurt when I press on that spot.

Even before it heal completely, I hurt my head again.

And it's like 3 times more pain than the previous one. Argh.

Shopped around and then headed home~~

Yesterday, went to Singapore Flyer for NYAA Community Service briefing.
Gonna bring kids from one station to another. Went there with Cai Juan and Wan Ting.

We were 30 minutes late for the briefing because someone was late....

And we couldn't find a way to the flyer. So kept asking around for directions.

The people in Marina Square asked us to walk via the Harvey Norman route.

Reached there and the person brief us on what we have to do tomorrow.

And I'm super bad in direction so I just can't remember what we have to do tomorrow. Argh.

And and...they cheated us!!!! In the email that person said: "The highlight of the afternoon-long event will be the highly anticipated 30-minute ride on the Flyer."

So I thought that there will be a free ride in the Flyer. But only the kids will get the free ride! ARGGH.

After briefing, went to Marina Square for awhile then headed to NYP for badminton~
Three of us met up with Joy and then headed to the Sports Hall.

Wan Ting booked the 4-5pm one but we reached there at around 5.45pm XD XD

There were some empty court so we went to play~
Left at 7pm plus. Waited the bus for really really loooooooonggg.

Maybe going Orchard again with Grace on Friday to do something special XD Kekekeke.

And I've signed up as a dancer in the 2009 Chingay Parade with Grace!!

A few days ago, spent almost half of the day with my mum cleaning my beloved soft toy's house.
Took out every single one of them. My mum did the cleaning of the cupboard....while I played with them xD Hahaha.

About 160 of them :D

After that, went to Parkway Parade to shop :D

Both of us were walking in a straight horizontal line when we gonna enter Watsons.

Heh. We spent quite some time at Cotton On.

They were having sales and it was kinda crowded.
We shared a fitting room....

NEWater Visitor Centre (3 Sep 08)
Went there for NYAA's Community Service (with Cai Juan and some NYAA peeps~).
The guide told us what we need to do. Which is to be guides.
Then showed us around the Centre~
Realise that the methods use to purify the USED water is thought in Biochemical Science~
So next time after I graduate, I may be able to work there, haha.
Still need to go for a few more trainings before we can be the guides.
The script is quite simple but I can't imagine myself (alone) talking in front of so many people (The guide said maximum is 150 people)!!~~

Studying at the library (4 Sep 08)
Went Pasir Ris library to study with BLF!~ <33 BLF had tuition before that so only got to meet up at around 3pm. Didn't have tables so we sat on the floor and the chair is our table~ Haha. Studied till around 6.30pm and we went shopping for awhile before going home. Oh oh. And BLF once told me that Physics make her vomit. She didn't like Care Bears. So I asked her if she prefer Physics or Care Bears xD And she said PHYSICS! Omg!!! XD
Heh. Went home after that :((((

CLIMATE CHANGE Talk (5 Sep 08)
Held at NYP's Theatres For the Arts.
Went there with Cai Juan cos NYAA's in-charge told us to go for the talk as CCA points are given.
So yea, they invited some VIPs from UK and Britain to talk about Climate Change.
The whole theatre is full and there were not enough seats for every body. Some even had to sit on the stairs.
And the VIPs were like super happy and please to see so many people go attend the talk.
But in actual fact, most people go there for CCA points =XXX
The talk was rather short in my opinion.
After that there was the tea reception. Free dinner :X
Headed home after that~

I'm not happy.
I'm trying my best already.
But why does it have to be so unfair?
I understand that things can't be perfect.
But I wish that things can get better than this.
There are just too many obstacles to overcome.
If I were a different person...
If I were to be at a different place...
Maybe things would have been better.
But I may be wrong, you may be right.
Things may not have a meaning to it if effort aren't put in.

Went back to my secondary school last Friday for Teacher's Day.
(No, actually just an excuse to sneak into school xD)
Went there with AYF. It's been so many many months since we have had any gathering~
We didn't really look for any teachers in the end cos most teachers aren't there already.
We stood outside the general office (and in the middle) to talk among ourselves xD
After that, decided to go the Kopi Shop outside our school.
Had our lunch and we headed to E! Hub for bowling.
Heh heh heh. Had fun~~ =D
No idea how long more to our next gathering =(

Saturday and Sunday, I had nothing to do so I went to read Inorganic and Physical Chemistry's notes.
My next semester's module~ Lol. I bet most people haven't even buy the notes yet.
All I can say is that secondary school's text book and notes are way way way better than poly's notes. Much better English and no spelling or grammar mistakes.
I miss secondary school~~

Today suppose to have badminton with my class at my school's sports hall but it's cancelled~
And now, I'm so bored~~~

One semester is gone~ In the previous semester, got to know some interesting facts that I didn't get to know before I enter poly. Shall share it with you ^^

1) Consumption of methanol (fuel used for racing car) can lead to blindness.

2) Sodium and water will react and lead to an explosion of fire. (A good way to kill fishes ^^)

3) Water sticks onto glass as they have Hydrogen-bond and high surface tension.

4) We would not gain weight if we consume artificial sweeteners, but they may cause cancer.

5) Eating too much sugar-free sweets will cause diarrhoea.

6) It's alright to consume excess Vitamin B and C but not alright to eat too much Vitamin A, D, E and K.

7) Humans need cholesterol to have sex hormones.

8) Consumption of carbohydrate-rich meals (rice, candy, cereal, paste, etc) make people sleepy. Protein-rich meal have the adverse effect.

9) An alcoholic's liver have white patches which are fats.

10) Proteins need to fold. Protein misfolding causes some diseases like Mad Cow Disease where "black holes" are found in the brain tissues.

Man Fut Tung Vegetarian Food Fair
Wan Ting and I was late for 30 minutes.
But in the end, when we reach there, the people were still standing there waiting for teachers' instructions. A right choice to be late, haha. And this is under community service so we need to take photographs so we can do it for NYAA. And we look like retards taking photos of the posters =.= So malu~ Took the t-shirt and we walked all the way to the MRT's toilet to change.

In the end, didn't get to sell Japanese sushi. The guy asked us to help another store owner. Were asked to sell Organic Cakes! =D

About 45 minutes after we started selling, I accidentally cut my finger. And like 5 minutes later, I was feeling super giddy. Ear stuck, vision blur. Like gonna faint in any minute. So hurry sit down rest for like 5 minutes. Continue selling but less than 5 minutes later, I felt giddy again. Then uncle brought me to the first-aid there. And I started to have headache =.= No panadol so the lady help me apply medical oil. A while later, went back to the store to help out~

Saw Puay Wee Liang. And my mouth was too itchy and I went to scream for him....

Then he keep talking to me and I had to shoo him away. Because he've got a lot of coupons left, he gave me and Wan Ting THIRTY DOLLARS worth of coupons. Thank you looooo.

Went around during lunch time to buy food to eat~ We spent like $30 worth of coupons on our lunch~ At around 3pm, time to end our shift. Headed home after that~

Oh yea. That day at the Onigiri Workshop, the Japanese teacher was teaching us how to make Onigiris. It suppose to be for the preparation of the Vegetarin Food Fair. So she demonstrated to us how to press the rice. Then she said "....hand..." But I heard it as HAM because she's have got Japanese accent. And I thought it suppose to be vegetarin, how come got ham (meat)??? And I was like "HAM?!?!?!" then the Japanese teacher and everyone looked at me and she said "HAND". Hahaha xD

Went to Sentosa with Emad-Fivez.
Had picnic at Palawan beach's wooden hut as usual.
Took the sky ride with Cheryl.
Played water and sand in the beach for awhile.
Went to Vivo City for dinner and headed home.

1 July 2008
Went for Onigiri Workshop with Wan Ting.
Japanese teachers taught us how to make 2 types of sushis.
One of the Japanese teacher look like Da Xiong from Doremon.
Similar hair style and similar glasses.
We chose the morning shift which is from 9am to 3pm.
We will be selling sushis opposite to Mustafa Centre on 12 July~
Had those sushis as our dinner and headed home.

Opticians recommend us to wear contact lens NOT more than 10 hours a day.
And 2 days ago, I wore for 15 hours. Eyes went red as soon as I took out my contact lens.
Yesterday, still wore contact lens to school and my eyes were still red and uncomfortable.
So wore glasses to school today...but my eyes are still RED. Argh.
And I found white hair on my head AGAIN...
Even when I was taking O' Levels, I don't even have white hair la T_T

A Memorable Day...

On 16th June...
It was an adventurous yet tiring day for both Keiko and Grace.
Keiko and Grace met up and headed down to Parkway Parade.
They shopped awhile and went to Jack's Place for their lunch.
After that, continue shopping for awhile and they left the shopping mall.
They took bus 196 towards their destination.
After around 20 min, they realised they have landed at a Central location.
However, their desired destiny was in the east.
They passed Kallang, Suntec City, Marina Square, the Esplanade theatre...
They were quite fascinated at first but realise they were in an unfamiliar place.
Tanjong Pagar, Bukit Merah and Tiong Baru...
Something was not right so they decided to get down the bus.
They were tired, hot and lost.
They were like dumbs dumbs from ulu ulu mountains =x
Decided to cross the overhead bridge to check.
Realised that the bus they took suppose to go Clementi, Dover instead.
They took bus 197. And again they saw some place of interest of Singapore.
Outram Park, Clarke Quay, Central, Chinatown, People's Park, ROM, Singapore Art Museum, Singapore Management University, Bugis Junction, Bugis Street...
They toured around Singapore...and finally landed at Bugis Street.
Keiko went to get watches and after that, they headed to This Fashion.
They took quite a lot of clothes to try on. From around 6.30pm choose till around 8pm???
After that, they headed back to their ulu ulu mountains~

Took bus to Woodlands and then MRT down to Bukit Batok.

Headed down to the Singapore Expo yesterday~
Grace, Hui Min and I went to the John Little sale to shop shop~ =D
Bought quite a number of stuff there x_x
Went to play perfume after that, haha =P
Actually, didn't even intend to buy one at first.
But in the end, Grace and Hui Min found the same brand perfume they like =D
They decided to buy~ Due to my stupid block nose, can't really smell it :(
But the perfume as described by them sound really like the type of perfume I wanna get.
After deciding for some time, I decided to buy it...despite the fact that I can only smell about 20% of it >_<
Haha. Hui Min bought the Sensual Love while Grace and I bought the Tender Kiss~ ^^
This morning I woke up, the first thing I did was to open the perfume and spray some to check if my sense of smell is back. By now, I can smell around 50% of it....and the perfume smell is nice! =)

Heh. Later watching Kungfu Panda at around 3.30pm =D
After that going for BBQ. Lol. Every time go BBQ oso people help me barbecue the food, shall try to do it myself this time round ^^ Haha. I'm so excited =P

A lot of lessons had been cancelled this week.
Didn't have any lessons on Monday so went to Terminal 3 to study with Wan Ting~ ^^
Lol. Cindy and Yvonne went airport to study too. Such a coincident.
Today at my school, there's this sale at the atrium~
Bought 2 t-shirts at 2 for $10 =D
Haha. Siew Guat, Fiona, Yvonne and I bought the same t-shirt but of different colour xD
After that, we decided to buy one more, so in the end, the second t-shirt, me, Fiona and Yvonne oso buy the same design but again of different colour xD

Hmm. Should be going out with Cheryl, Grace and Hui Min on Sunday~ ^^

I've submitted my application for my complimentary study for the next semester.
Here are my choices: (1 being the one I want most and 5 being the least)

May not be able to get what we want due to the fact that the school wants all classes to be proportionate.

I was CCA-less so I went to join NYAA (National Youth Achievement Award) with Wan Ting and Cai Juan. Don't need regular meetings and I only have to stay in this CCA for 1 and 1/2 years. We will most probably go to SPCA to help out~

I've not been in the best of mood lately.
I'm so pissed with myself, my life and some other people...
Things AGAIN aren't going the way I wanted.
I'm so stressed and I just hate the feeling.
I'm so stressed up that my temper is so horrid at times.
I was so pissed that day that I soaked my bolster and pillow with tears...
I was so afraid that one day when I woke up, I realise that my hair have gone white overnight.
Just yesterday, I spotted white hair...
I'm really tired...yet I can't take a guilty-free break.
I'm so tired of my life...for a moment, nasty thoughts attack my brain again.

And I thought this will last for a life time.
But I guess I'm wrong. I'm so disappointed.
I don't have the sense of belonging anymore...
You people are in your own world.

But the thoughts that I've placed so much efforts in my previous days...
Makes me feel that it's not worthy to end here...
And the thoughts about the wonderful things I could do next time...
My goals...my dreams...and things I wanna achieve...makes my eyes sparkle.

Yesterday, went to AMK Hub to meet Evelyn, Grace and Hui Min after CSDUMMY3's Thinking and Problems Solving lesson.
Went around looking for a new bag cos my laptop is making my PUMA (aka "friendship bag")'s stripe cracking.
Grace went to look for her formal clothings for her presentation.
Gonna have a major presentation at around week 15 and I will have to buy formal clothing next time too =(
It's like so not worth it? Grace can still wear her formal clothings for her 3rd year's attachment.
But I will be wearing lab coat, long jeans and black booty shoes~
Lol. Now I'm more confident speaking in front of the class cos after every presentation, my friends will say that I spoke very loud XD
Didn't manage to get one at AMK Hub~ Headed down to Tampines Mall.
Went to the ZINC shop and bought a new bag~
Lol. It looks really chocolatey!!! XD
Just now at school, I feel hungry for chocolate after constantly staring at my bag~ xD

Just now, after all lessons end, had a game section with another class.
Our mentor and their mentor were there too~ =D
Played some games~ In one of the game, someone has to put shaving cream all over his/her face, then all of us were given 2 pieces of worm-shaped crackers each to aim at that person's face. Every piece of cracker sticked on that person's face will be get one point~ xD
Everyone sabo Wee Liang XD Then 16 of us queue up to throw the cracker at his face.
A bit bad eh in my opinion. Lol. A lot of people miss. Both of my crackers successfully sticked on his face~
Got only 10 points in the end =( The other class won.
Something unpleasant happened in the lecture hall while Wan Ting and I were at the toilet.
All the mentors chipped in some money to treat us Pizza~
But cos of that thingy that happened, some of our class people didn't eat the pizza in the end....I was one of them...

There's Biochemical Science test coming up on 22th May 2008.
60 pages and 120 slides to study!! :(

I'm at school now~
Heh. Went for the Chinese Orchestra theory lesson on Monday.
It was really boring cos the conductor said stuff that I already know 4 years ago =X
Didn't really enjoy my time there.
On Tuesday, there should be a mini interview section but I didn't go.
I SMSed the person to tell them that I wanna quit Chinese Orchestra, LOL.
All the lecturers told us that in order to enjoy our time spent in NYP, we should join a CCA.
But I don't think I will enjoy my time 3 years at that CO.
Not that I've lost my passion for CO but seriously, I don't really like the people there...

Not-so-stressful moments

Hohoho. I'm in the mood so shall type everything all over again xD

Heh. On Monday, started wearing my green coloured contact lens ^^
Lol. Some find it nice, some find it a bit alien-ish?
But then since I am such an alien, so I think the contact lens suit me a lot? Hahaha xD

On Tuesday, there's Chinese Orchestra.
At first, suddenly don't feel like joining.
Reason is: I've got no feel xD
But in the end, still join anyway cos I need my CCA points!!
Went for the try out section with Cai Juan.
Went to the Er Hu section first.
The guy teached us how to hold the Er Hu and the bow.
Then asked us to pull to see if we're suitable for that instrument.
After that, we got graded by the guy~ I pass the try out ^^

Went to the Cello section.
Wanted to play the Cello since secondary two~
But wasn't that well as compared to Er Hu cos my fingers are kinda short =(
But I still pass the try out anyway~
After deciding for awhile, decided to choose Cello over Er Hu.
Cai Juan chose Er Hu.
But there's still theory lesson next monday to wednesday~
Will confirm if I'm playing Cello only after the theory lessons.
But I think most likely can ba =X
Since I know how to read bean sprouts notes~ =D

Lol. Then both Cai Juan and I miss Shengs.
So I decided to go into the Sheng and Suona room to see see.
In the end, realise that there's only 2 of us inside the room xD
They asked us if we've played any CO instruments before and I said that I will tell them only after they introduce the instruments to us.
Then we act act like we don't know anything xD
When the suona guy was introducing the Suona to us, we acted like we first time see Suona xD
Then when the Gao Ying Sheng girl introduce Sheng to us, I mentioned that Gao Ying Sheng looks really nice.
Then she seems pretty pleased.
Lol. Then when she told us how to blow, how to press, I was like "Ohhhhhh".
Before we left, I told them that I used to play Gao Ying Sheng and that I came here to see see nia.
Then they were like "Cheyy. Say earlier ma, then we don't have to introduce the instruments to you all le".
Lol. I'm so extra~ =P Haha. Whatever~

On Wednesday, there's Biochemical Science presentation at tutorial room.
My group was the first to present.
Samantha was late for school so only me and Siew Guat present.
I spoke louder in case they can't hear what I was talking about.
Lol. Later after that, my friends from other groups said that I spoke very loud during the presentation xD
Haha. Happy~ xP
Then Siew Guat asked me if it's my maximum volume.
Then I was like "Erm. Can go 10 times louder" XD

Argh. Don't like Quality Control's lesson.
The theory is pretty easy to understand but we need to learn how to plot graphs with Microsoft Excel.
And it's like go in from one ear and then come out from another.
Can't seems to remember the steps =(

There should be Problem Solving and Thinking Skills lesson on Wednesday but the lecturer wasn't there.
So headed to the library with Siew Guat, Wan Ting, Fiona and Fadhlan to do my maths E-Quiz.
Asked Fadhlan to teach us mathematics~~
Then I do the quiz till fed-up so some questions do half way then see which one look like the answer then guess.
it's MCQ xD In the end, still get 8.0 out of 10.0. So lucky =X

Heh. After that, headed to the Sports Hall to play Badminton cos Samantha booked a court.
On my way there with Wan Ting, Siew Guat, Fiona and Joachim, I saw a person with the same bag as me.
Didn't see the face of the person at first, only saw the bag.
Then I go see the person's face. Then realise it's Grace!!! Haha.
Then we started screaming at each other XD
Lol. So happy to see her~~ ^^
Wan Ting, Fiona, Siew Guat and I wanted to get McFlurry but they ran out of ice-cream I think =(
So headed down to the Sports Hall~
Cheryl, Samantha, Kai Xiang, Benny, Allen and Xin Yang was already there.
They play till so pro la~ So we decided to just sit there and see them play.
Lol. Half way through, me and Fiona started getting high and crazy XD
Allen was having a match with this China guy then his action is so yaya papaya~
Then we see him bu shuang xD
So every time the China guy miss the shutter cock, me and Fiona will scream "YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!".
Then I was so high that I actually stand up with my hands held high (LP's song xD) while screaming "YAYYYYY!!!!!!".
Lol. First time so high and crazy in front of my poly's friends~ xD

Haha. Left at around 5.30pm.
Saw people eating McFlurry so me and Wan Ting went to get one.
After that, took bus 72 together~

Schooling~

Finally found a chance to come and blog~

Have been schooling and schooling in the weekdays.

And communicating with aliens in the weekends.

There's 3 aliens. Biochem, Organic Chem and E-Maths.

Biochemical Science is starting to make sense to me~ ^^

Engineering Maths is like some day make sense, some day it doesn't.

Organic Chemistry...something I really looked forward to studying.

In the end, it turns out to be a complete alien to me...

It's been more than a week and my flu hasn't gone yet.

Didn't eat my medicine cos they cause me to go zzz-ing.

Can't afford to miss even a minute of my lecture~ =(

So only ate my medicine at night.

Random interesting things that happened over the weekdays...

1) Was half way through Biochem lesson at the science lab on Wednesday. Then someone from my class mentioned that she could smell gas. Then the teacher went to check the bunsen burner, etc to make sure it's off already. It was all off but the gas smell was getting stronger. So the teacher asked us to hurry pack our stuff and get out of the science lab. At the door, the smell was super strong~ We were shoo-ed off so didn't know what happened after that.

2) Decided to join Chinese Orchestra instead of Symphony Orchestra cos 3 aliens is more than enough, I don't wanna add more to it. Went for the orientation with Cai Juan. The conductor said something that made me so pissed off. Roar. He said that the New York people invited NYPCO to perform at New York this year but he rejected because in his opinion, he thinks that CO should go to Chinese countries ._. Was super duper ultra excited for nothing T_T And out of all the people who signed up for CO, 7 played Sheng before. So there's an audition/interview section. Lol. Want play Sheng still need to pass the audition then can play o.o Will be choosing instrument on Tuesday =D

Ahh. Had always thought that polytechnic's life would be much carefree.
I'm so super wrong. On the first day of school, I'm already stress up~ T_T
All the modules are totally strangers to me.

There's Biochemical Science and the first topic is very Biology.
Super confused since I've got no Biology background.

There's oso Engineering Mathematics. Didn't know that it's similar to A Maths.
And again, I've not taken A Maths in my secondary school life.
So it's confusing for me. The tutor explain really fast la =(
And my mathematics has always being really bad D=

Lastly, Organic Chemistry. Was really looking forward to learning this.
But to my horror, it's so freakin different from the secondary school's one.
Ahh. Everything seems like alien language to me!~~

Bought the lab coat, safety googles, gloves and safety shoes~
$35. The shoes is really fugly =X
And we were told that we had to wear long jeans/pants in the lab.
Need to get more jeans~ =D

On Friday, went to NYP's Club Crawl (aka CCA Fair) with friends.
Went to ask for more information about both Chinese Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra.
Both full orchestra pratices falls on the same day.....and on the same time =(
So meaning that I have to choose from one of them T_T Still haven't decided yet.

Argh. Then on Friday, I suppose to go back to my secondary school cos there's Speech Day.
But I fell sick =( Horrible flu, severe sore throat, a bit of fever.
So decided not to go. Sad =( Went to see the doctor. The queue was super loooonnnggg.
Waited for 3 whole hours for my turn~ =(

Oh and I saw him two days in a row at two different venues.
When can he take a second look at me? D=

Birthday

Went to get Valerie's birthday present with Grace on Friday ^^
Took a really really really looooong time to decide what to get for her.
We were in the shop for like around one hour?
Finally decided on the doggie mug. I want one too! xD

Then went for her birthday BBQ yesterday.
Spent like half an hour just to walk from down town east to the BBQ pit.
We (Evelyn, Grace and Hui Min) walked from pit 1 to pit 49 -_-
We reached kinda early though cos only Valerie and her family members were there.
After eating for a little while, went to the huge rocks~ =D
Grace and Hui Min were too high I think. They took lots of photos xD
Then went back to eat again. Something happened.
I accidentally ate the mutton satay. (Last year, I promised myself never ever to eat mutton ever again...cos I like goats.) I was kinda "excited" about the satay that I just happily take it from Valerie's hand without thinking. And delivered into my mouth without thinking oso.
Had a small bite. Then I realise something was not right. So asked what meat was that. And Valerie was like "Mutton." Although the piece of meat wasn't even 1 cm but I felt real bad! I had a sudden urge to dig out the meat....but I'm in a public place...
Gosh! My deepest apology to the goat. I'm so so so sorry!!!! T_T
Mood went down after realising I just swallowed a piece of mutton....

Anyway, just now went out with mummy =D
Went to get a haircut at Century Square's Storm~
After that, decided to head home. But a top caught my eye!
So went into Mila and bought it~ =p
Also bought a pair of flip flop at Isetan cos mines worn out already.

Went to school for my notebook configuration yesterday =D
Met up with Siew Guat and Alvina at the MRT station.
Before that, went to make my Ez-Link card. I used the photo that is like 2 years ago? xD
We were late for around 25 minutes =X Luckily, we were able to keep up.
After connecting to the internet, chatted with Evelyn and Hui Min via MSN~
Had to download some stuff. Two things caught my eye.
One of them is Engineering Mathematics.
Hmm. I've got a bad feeling about this =( As soon as I see it, I was like "o_o?????".
The other one is Organic Chemistry!!! ^^

SCL Orientation

I have been having a huge mixture of mood recently.

Had my Orientation on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2008.
Got to meet my new classmates ^^ as well as my mentor.
Shall summarise my orientation~

On the 1st day, got to know which class I'm posted to.
And that is CPTo8o4 =D
Cai Juan's not in the same class as me.
Also got to know my mentor. Mr Kelvin Robert ^^
Listened to a short speech and watched a little performance.
After that, went back to the auditorium where we had some ices breaker games with our classmates and 2 mustangs.
For lunch, went to McDonalds. Can't remember what happened after that =x
Also headed down to the sports hall to have some games.
One of the games was "Form the longest line with anything on you".
Lol. Put our necklaces, footwear, shoe laces, watch, etc...and even our own bodies onto the floor.
Hmm. Pretty fun and a bit tiring cos we were like running around in some of the games.

On the 2nd day, the beginning was kinda boring.
In the afternoon, went into our classrooms to decide on our performance.
Lol. One of my classmate acted out Mas Selemat hurting his leg and escaping from the detention centre.
Some acted as the people in the toilet, the police, the worker... and I was one of the saviors.
Suppose to catch "Mas Selemat" and smack him but he ran too fast so the part was cut off -_-
Also got to watch the performances from the other classes....and from the mustangs.
Needless to say, the performance by the mustangs was the most entertaining of all.
So funny~ Laughed and laughed~ Haha xD
However, towards the ending of the Orientation, was feeling emo due to some reasons....
The mustangs told us that we will recieve a surprise at the end of the day.
Went to the Theatre of the Arts at around 7pm and our surprise came...
We had to drink up a cup of unknown green-brown-slimmy-disgusting mixture...or else we won't be considered as one of the SCL students.
It taste really bitter. And they added something in the drink that we had to chew. Wonder what was that @_@
After finishing the whole cup of drink, we were allowed to go home after collecting our orientation package.

Looking forward to the start of the semester =)

While on Friday, headed down to NYP again for the notebook roadshow with Grace.
Mr Kelvin Robert told us that we NEED to get a laptop.
Bought the Acer TravelMate 4720.

Beach and GIANT.

I had a wonderful time on Thursday!!! =D
Headed down to Suntec City with Evelyn, Grace and Hui Min.
After shopping for a little while, went to Pasir Ris via MRT.
It was raining really heavily and we went to McDonald's.
After that, the rain stopped and we walked to the beach.
Found a nice place and we settled down.
Took lots of photos~ Mostly only with my face in it. HAHA xD
Then we (excluding Evelyn) did something really really CRAZY but fun xD
Couldn't stop laughing when I start to recall it =D
Heh. This will definitely stay in my memory lane~
HAHA. Hope to share more fun and crazy moments with them =D

While on Saturday and Sunday, it was my last 2 days of work.
On Saturday, Joelle came to Parkway Parade's GIANT to look for us.
Was caught red-handed for not using gloves =X
Hmm. Then on Sunday, reached kinda early.
So headed to the shop near GIANT.
Bought a pair of FBT shorts for Orientation ^^
Just when I was about to start my work, something annoying happened.
Feel free to ask me about the annoying thing when you see me. Haha xD

Hmm. Going to my secondary school tomorrow to collect my O' Levels Certificate.
After that, shall go to PP's GIANT again to return the GIANT t-shirt.
I like the Strawberry Oreos...very much!!!
Maybe getting it tomorrow. Haha =D
After that, gotta go to Jurong =( To pass the person my punch card and Lifebuoy t-shirt~

Birthday girl~

It's Hui Min's birthday yesterday.
Went out with Evelyn and Grace to get a present for her ^^
Headed to Marina Square and then headed down to Suntec.
Went to Build-A-Bear-Workshop :D
I feel really really sad when I look at the outerbody of those cuties.
They look so lifeless (aka dead) T.T
Had to stuff them with cotton. I felt my heart aching when the cotton was squeezed into their little bodies. Pain~
Made a teddy bear (named Aries) for Hui Min ^^
Heh. Hui Min and I gonna go down to Build-A-Bear-Workshop to get our beloved bears some clothings some day~ xD

Heh. Headed to Hui Min's house after getting a cake from City Link.
Just nice, there was a wooden chair outside her neighbour's house.
We borrowed (without asking) the chair and placed it in front of her house.
Then placed the lighted cake on the chair and Grace pressed the doorbell while we hide~
Her mum opened the door and called out for her name as soon as she saw the birthday cake.
Haha. We're all glad that Hui Min's really touched!! Heh heh xD

Shall end here.
07 more days to orientation.
Gonna work again on Saturday and Sunday @ Parkway Parade's GIANT.
Still selling OREO Wafer Bites and Wafer Rolls.
Come with Vanilla cream or Chocolate cream~

P.S.. The Oreo Strawberry sandwich biscuit taste really good!!! =p

20th March 2008 is the rebirth of Keiko.
20th March 2008 mark the beginning of a new chapter of my life.
13 more days to Orientation Day.
Really looking forward to it :D
